Being between an object and an idea, between concreteness and abstraction. The very concept of “between” can be treated in one case as a state of uncertainty, in another it can mean a specific, material form of existence: we can live between things, but not between ideas.
The exhibition extends the theme of the object-idea, where the object is taken out of everyday life, documented and transferred to glass, forming an empty showcase in which the objects seem to be closed in themselves. But now a new dimension emerges, sharpening the aspect of being “between”, when the purity of the object-idea is supplemented by abstract planes. These planes decompose, intervene, and interact with objects in other ways, and the purity of the object-idea loses certainty.
